Joinery and Carving

In bringing together joinery with carving Laurence can take on commissions that are ordinarily taken out of the control of the carver. Beckford's Art Works, from the initial design stage through manufacture and embellishment offer a complete service and providing that required confidence in their clientele.

New organ case in the Grand Temple of the Grade II listed Art Deco, Freemasons Hall in London.
Hayles and Howe with Peter Cooke ( Architect - Adams Architecture) asked if I could replicate the support brackets to the organ case. Working with my colleague Brett Wright we worked out the most efficient method which meant some clever and safe spindle moulding techniques. After this initial stage the brackets were handed over to me to complete the internal mould intersections and the finishing of the moulds.  See this article for more information.
